- 3-4 pound beef chuck roast
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (smashed)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Crusty rolls (for serving)
- Provolone or Swiss cheese slices (optional)
- Prepare Ingredients: Place onions and garlic in the slow cooker. Place beef on top.
- Add Broth and Seasoning: Add broth, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
