- 2 ripe avocados
- 4 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon capers, drained
- 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop out a little bit of the flesh to create a larger cavity for the filling.
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped smoked salmon, cream cheese, lemon juice, capers, red onion, and dill. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the smoked salmon mixture into the avocado halves, filling them generously.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

- For a spicy kick, add a few dashes of hot sauce or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the filling.
