  • 1 can (28 oz crushed tomatoes)
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 package (9 oz cheese tortellini)
  • ½ cup fresh basil (chopped)
  1. Combine Ingredients: Add tomatoes, broth, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to slow cooker.
  2. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. Blend: Purée the soup with an immersion blender until smooth.
