Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 pound whole chicken giblets removed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: Fresh rosemary thyme, lemon slices

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Chicken: Remove giblets, rinse, and pat dry.
  • Season: Rub with oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Truss Chicken: Tie legs and tuck wings for even cooking.
  • Preheat Grill: Set to medium heat, around 350°F.
  • Set on Rotisserie Spit: Slide chicken onto the spit, securing tightly.
  • Cook: Rotate 1 1/2 - 2 hours, until internal temp is 165°F.
  • Rest and Serve: Rest 10 minutes, then carve and enjoy.

Notes

For extra flavor, add lemon or rosemary in the cavity before cooking
