Ingredients
  

For the Cake:

  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix
  • 1 box 3.4 oz instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios optional

For the Pistachio Cream Topping:

  • 1 box 3.4 oz instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container 8 oz Cool Whip or 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare cake batter with cake mix, pistachio pudding, milk, oil, eggs, and pistachios. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Make pistachio cream topping by combining pudding mix, milk, and Cool Whip.
  • Spread topping over cooled cake and garnish with pistachios.
  • Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
