Ingredients
  

  • 1 pre-made or homemade pie crust

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Pecan Topping:

  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans (chopped or whole

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 350°F and prepare the pie crust.
  • Make Cheesecake Layer: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the pie crust.
  • Make Pecan Topping: Whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir in pecans.
  • Assemble: Pour the pecan mixture over the cheesecake layer.
  • Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes until the pie is set and golden.
  • Cool and Serve: Let cool completely before serving. Garnish with whipped cream if desired.
