- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup Hennessy Cognac
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley for garnish
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the Hennessy Cognac, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to cook off the alcohol.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
- For a spicier dish, increase the cayenne pepper or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with crusty bread or over rice to soak up the flavorful sauce.
- If you prefer a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream at the end and simmer for an additional minute.
