Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust
  • 4 cups peaches peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup flour for filling
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon butter cut into pieces

Cobbler Topping:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Crust: Roll out crust and fit into pie dish.
  • Make Filling: Combine peaches, sugar, lemon juice, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Add Filling to Crust: Pour filling into crust, dot with butter.
  • Make Cobbler Topping: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter, and milk for topping.
  • Add Topping and Bake: Drop spoonfuls of topping over filling and bake at 375°F for 40-45 minutes.
