Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Shred cabbage and carrots.
  • Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  • Toss the vegetables with the dressing until evenly coated.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
