- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar for caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup pecans toasted and chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour for cobbler topping
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, toss apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and lemon juice. Set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar and cream to make caramel sauce.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter to form the cobbler batter.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer apple mixture, pour caramel sauce, sprinkle pecans, and dollop cobbler batter on top.
