Ingredients
  

For the Biscuits:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in buttermilk just until combined.
  • Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Notes

  • Brush the tops with melted butter for extra flavor.
  • To freeze, place unbaked biscuits on a baking sheet and transfer to a freezer bag once frozen.
