Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or tenderloin thinly sliced
  • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms sliced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil and sear beef strips until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms in butter.
  • Add garlic and deglaze with beef broth. Stir in mustard and Worcestershire.
  • Lower heat and mix in sour cream until sauce is smooth.
  • Return beef to skillet and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over egg noodles.

Notes

  • Use room-temperature sour cream for a smooth sauce.
  • Serve with egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
