- 1 lb beef sirloin or tenderloin thinly sliced
- 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms sliced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Heat oil and sear beef strips until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms in butter.
Add garlic and deglaze with beef broth. Stir in mustard and Worcestershire.
Lower heat and mix in sour cream until sauce is smooth.
Return beef to skillet and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over egg noodles.
