- 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil divided
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper sliced
- 1 carrot thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup snap peas
- Optional: sesame oil green onions, sesame seeds
Marinate sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10-15 minutes.
Make stir-fry sauce by whisking together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch.
Cook vegetables in 1 tablespoon oil until crisp-tender, then remove from skillet.
Cook beef in remaining oil until browned, then add garlic and ginger.
Return vegetables to the skillet and pour in stir-fry sauce. Toss to coat and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Serve over rice or noodles.
