- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas about 3 bananas
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup chopped pecans toasted
For the Frosting:
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
Cream butter, sugars, and eggs. Stir in bananas and vanilla.
Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk. Stir in pecans.
