Description
Whey-Protein Cloud Bread Sliders are a delicious low-carb alternative to traditional sliders, made with fluffy cloud bread and filled with seasoned ground turkey or chicken.

- 1 cup egg whites (about 8 large eggs)
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup whey protein isolate (unflavored or vanilla)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1 pound ground turkey or chicken
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Sliced tomatoes, for serving
- Sliced pickles, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix the whey protein isolate, salt, cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the whey protein mixture until fully combined, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
- Scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 8 small rounds (about 3 inches in diameter).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cloud breads are golden brown and firm to the touch. Allow them to cool on a wire rack.
- While the cloud breads are baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey or chicken, paprika, and black pepper. Cook until the meat is fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a spoonful of the cooked meat on a cloud bread round, topping with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Place another cloud bread round on top to complete the slider.
Notes
- For a cheesy flavor, mix in 1/4 cup of shredded cheese into the cloud bread mixture before baking.
- Substitute ground turkey or chicken with ground beef or a plant-based protein for a different flavor profile.
