- 1 tablespoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a large oven-safe pot, combine turkey tails, duck fat, salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme.
- Cover the pot and place it in the oven for 4 hours.
- Remove the pot from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Strain the fat and serve the turkey tails warm or refrigerate for later use.
