Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the mashed sweet potatoes with the peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) until you achieve a creamy consistency.
  3. Sift in the cocoa powder, then add the vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt, stirring until everything is thoroughly mixed.
  4. If you choose to include dark chocolate chips, gently fold them into the batter.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing it out evenly.
