Description

Delicious pasta shells stuffed with a creamy spinach and ricotta filling, baked in marinara sauce and topped with cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, spinach, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with additional mozzarella cheese if desired.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
