Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef cheeks
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup apple juice
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
- Trim excess fat from beef cheeks.
- Season the beef cheeks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Place beef cheeks in the smoker and smoke for 6-8 hours until tender.
- Remove from smoker and cube the beef into bite-sized pieces.
- Toss the beef cubes with barbecue sauce and apple juice.
- Return to the smoker and smoke for an additional 1-2 hours.
- Serve hot.

- Different types of wood can enhance flavor—try hickory or applewood.
