Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef cheeks
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
  2. Trim excess fat from beef cheeks.
  3. Season the beef cheeks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Place beef cheeks in the smoker and smoke for 6-8 hours until tender.
  5. Remove from smoker and cube the beef into bite-sized pieces.
  6. Toss the beef cubes with barbecue sauce and apple juice.
  7. Return to the smoker and smoke for an additional 1-2 hours.
  8. Serve hot.
