Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup minced vegetables
- 1/2 cup minced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour and salt, gradually adding water to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the filling by mixing minced vegetables, mushrooms, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, and ginger.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of filling on each circle, fold and seal the edges to form dumplings.
- Steam the dumplings for 15-20 minutes until cooked.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Make sure to keep the dumplings covered while steaming to prevent them from drying out.
- Experiment with different fillings such as meats or cheeses for variety.
- These dumplings freeze well; steam directly from the freezer when ready to serve.
