- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, and then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour half the batter into the baking pan, spread with salted caramel, and top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and drizzling with more salted caramel if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts to the brownie batter.
- Allow brownies to cool completely for easier cutting.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
