Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the finely ground pistachios until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
