Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup erythritol (or preferred keto sweetener)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (sugar-free)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch tart pan with cooking spray or butter.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, erythritol, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, peanut butter, and almond milk until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
  6. If using, fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared tart pan.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  9. Allow the tart to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Slice and serve. For an extra treat, top with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
