- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup erythritol (or preferred keto sweetener)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (sugar-free)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup sugar-free chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9-inch tart pan with cooking spray or butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, erythritol, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, peanut butter, and almond milk until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
- If using, fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared tart pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
- Allow the tart to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve. For an extra treat, top with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a teaspoon of espresso powder to the batter.
- You can substitute the peanut butter with almond butter for a different nutty taste.
- For added texture, sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans on top before baking.
