Ingredients

  • 1 cup tallow
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the octopus tentacles by cleaning them thoroughly.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the octopus. Cook for 45 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain and allow the octopus to cool slightly.
  4. In a skillet, heat the tallow over medium heat until hot.
  5. Season the octopus tentacles with paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
  6. Place the tentacles in the hot tallow and char on each side for about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and allow to rest before serving.
