- 2 pounds short ribs
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and beef broth to create the glaze.
- Place short ribs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them.
- Cover with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
- Remove foil and broil for 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the glaze.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes after baking for better flavor absorption.
