- 1/4 cup granola
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, for garnish
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate shavings or chips, for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the spinach, frozen banana, almond milk, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and honey or maple syrup if using. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- If you are using chocolate protein powder, add it to the blender and blend again until fully incorporated.
- Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl.
- Top the smoothie with granola, fresh mint leaves, and dark chocolate shavings or chips.
