Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, frozen
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (optional)
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate shavings or chips, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the spinach, frozen banana, almond milk, cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and honey or maple syrup if using. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. If you are using chocolate protein powder, add it to the blender and blend again until fully incorporated.
  3. Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl.
