A delicious Thai dessert featuring sweet sticky rice topped with ripe mango and drizzled with coconut milk.
Ingredients

- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the glutinous rice until the water runs clear, then soak it in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain the rice and steam it for about 25-30 minutes until fully cooked.
- In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt over low heat until dissolved; do not boil.
- Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and mix in about 1 cup of the coconut mixture. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.
- Peel and slice the mangoes.
- To serve, place a portion of the sticky rice on a plate, top with sliced mango, and drizzle with the remaining coconut sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- For best results, use Thai glutinous rice.
- Make sure the mangoes are ripe for the best sweetness and flavor.
- You can adjust the sweetness by modifying the sugar in the coconut sauce.
