- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. The dough will be sticky.
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese puffs are golden brown and slightly firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the dry ingredients.
- You can substitute the cheddar cheese with mozzarella or pepper jack for different flavors.
