Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted roasted pistachios
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Place the pistachios in a food processor. Blend on high speed for about 5-10 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides, until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
- If desired, add honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to taste. Blend again until fully combined.
- Taste the pistachio butter and adjust sweetness or saltiness if needed.
- Transfer the pistachio butter to an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or cinnamon to the mixture while blending.
- Try mixing in some chocolate chips or cocoa powder for a chocolate pistachio butter variation.
