- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
- Add the rolled oats to the mixture and fold in the mini chocolate chips or nuts if using. Mix until evenly distributed.
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- Pour the banana mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.
- Once frozen, lift the mixture out of the dish using the parchment paper. Cut into bars or squares.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, blend the ingredients in a food processor instead of mixing by hand.
