Description

These spicy and flavorful Gochujang Chicken Wings are perfect for game day or any casual gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup gochujang
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and coat well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top. Arrange the marinated wings on the rack.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until wings are crispy and cooked through, basting with leftover marinade halfway through.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more gochujang to the marinade.
  • Wings can also be grilled for a smoky flavor.
