- 1 prepared pie crust
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bunch chard, chopped
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
- Add chopped chard and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Add the wilted chard and onion mixture to the egg mixture, then stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tart is set and lightly golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can use kale or spinach instead of chard if desired.
- This tart can be served warm or at room temperature.
