Ingredients

- 4 leeks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Trim the leeks and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Brush the leeks with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the leeks on the grill cut side down and cook for 5-7 minutes until charred.
- Turn leeks and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from the grill and serve warm.
Notes
- Leeks can be substituted with scallions if desired.
- Serve with a drizzle of balsamic reduction for extra flavor.
