Description
Delicious Easter Egg Marshmallow Creme Truffles that are perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup marshmallow creme
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles
Instructions
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, mix the marshmallow creme, vanilla extract, crushed graham crackers, and chopped nuts (if using) until well combined.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out the marshmallow mixture and roll it into small balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Return the coated truffles to the baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with colorful sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a fun twist, try using flavored chocolate chips like mint or peanut butter for the coating.
- You can also substitute the graham crackers with crushed cookies for a different flavor profile.
