- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, melt the butter and add the sugar, forming a caramel.
- Add the plums, lemon juice, and cinnamon to the skillet, cooking until the plums are just soft.
- Transfer the plums to a baking dish, arranging them neatly.
- Cover the plums with puff pastry, tucking the edges down.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before inverting onto a serving plate.
