Description
A delightful and easy recipe for no bake orange creamsicle truffles that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla wafer crumbs, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to firm it up slightly, making it easier to handle.
- Once chilled, use a small cookie scoop or your hands to form the mixture into 1-inch balls. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out and allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
- If desired, roll the coated truffles in shredded coconut for added texture and flavor.
- Place the truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy your delicious no bake orange creamsicle truffles!
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, substitute half of the white chocolate with dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
- Add a splash of orange extract for an extra burst of orange flavor if desired.
