Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until crispy.
  4. Warm the pita breads in the oven for a few minutes.
