Ingredients

  • 1 beef tongue
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 avocado (for garnish)
  • 1 cup diced onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Clean the beef tongue thoroughly.
  2. Boil the beef tongue in a pot of salted water until tender, about 2-3 hours.
  3. Remove the tongue from the pot and let it cool, then peel off the skin.
  4. Slice the tongue thinly and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the sliced tongue until crispy.
  6. Serve in taco form garnished with avocado and diced onions.
