Description
Crab Rangoon Pinwheels are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that combines the flavors of crab rangoon in a fun pinwheel form.

- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup lump crab meat, drained and flaked
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Oil for frying (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.
- Lay a flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread about 1/4 of the crab mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the crab mixture.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- If frying, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cut each pinwheel into 1-inch pieces and fry them in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- If baking, preheat the oven to 375°F. Cut each rolled tortilla into 1-inch pinwheels and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy warm with sweet and sour sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

- For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha or hot sauce to the cream cheese mixture.
