Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 ounces) tuna, drained
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cottage cheese, breadcrumbs, green onions, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. You should get around 6-8 patties depending on the size.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and heated through.
  6. Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Serve warm.
