- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, almond or peanut butter, maple syrup (or honey), cocoa powder, vanilla extract, baking powder, and sea salt.
- Blend the mixture until it reaches a silky-smooth consistency.
- If using, gently fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Transfer the brownie mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.

- Let the bars cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before cutting them into squares.
Notes
- For a nut-free alternative, replace almond butter with sunflower seed butter.
- Enhance the flavor by mixing in 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or dried fruits for added texture.
