- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- 1 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, diced mushrooms, diced bell pepper, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Place a generous spoonful of the veggie mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Fold the sides of the triangle over the filling and roll it up towards the point, pinching the edges to seal. Shape the rolled dough into a ‘bunny footprint’ by slightly pinching the ends to create a rounded toe effect.
- Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
