  • 4 whole wheat pita breads
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (any color)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the pita breads on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread about 1/4 cup of pizza sauce evenly on each pita.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, covering it well.
  5. Arrange the sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese, leaving space for bunny ears.
  6. For the bunny ears, cut two small triangles from the top edge of each pita to create ear shapes.
  7. Add black olives and diced bell peppers around the edges of the pita for decoration.
  8. Sprinkle dried oregano and garlic powder over the top for added flavor.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
