- 1 pound beef kidney
- 1/2 cup tallow
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 skewers
Instructions
- Soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Cut the beef kidney into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix tallow, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the kidney pieces in the tallow mixture until well coated.
- Thread the kidney pieces onto the skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Brush with additional tallow halfway through cooking.
- Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate the skewers for a few hours before grilling.
- Pair with your favorite dipping sauce.
