Deliciously tender and flavorful beef burnt ends made from beef deckle, smoked to perfection.
Ingredients

- 1 point cut beef deckle
- 2 tablespoons BBQ rub
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F.
- Trim excess fat from the beef deckle.
- Rub the BBQ rub evenly over the beef.
- Place the beef in the smoker and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Wrap the beef in foil and return it to the smoker until it reaches 200°F.
- Remove from smoker and cube the beef into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix with barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and vinegar.
- Return to smoker for an additional 1-2 hours until caramelized.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to monitor the internal temperature.
- Allow the burnt ends to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
