Description

A refreshing twist on traditional tzatziki, featuring zesty radishes for a unique flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup radishes, finely grated
  • 1 small cucumber, finely grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated radishes, and grated cucumber. Make sure to squeeze out excess moisture from the cucumber before adding it to the bowl.
  2. Add the minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, and olive oil to the mixture. Stir until well combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Serve chilled as a dip with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as a sauce for grilled meats.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few dashes of hot sauce.
  • Try substituting the dill with fresh mint for a refreshing twist.
