A delicious and decadent Vanilla Chestnut Cream Parfait that combines whipped cream, chestnut puree, granola, and fresh berries.

- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup chestnut puree (canned or homemade)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup granola
- 1 cup fresh berries (such as strawberries or blueberries)
- Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the chestnut puree into the whipped cream until well combined. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
- In serving glasses or bowls, layer the chestnut cream mixture, granola, and fresh berries. Start with a layer of chestnut cream, followed by granola, then berries. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with a layer of chestnut cream on top.
- Chill the parfaits in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Garnish with mint leaves if desired before serving.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, add a layer of chocolate sauce or cocoa powder between the layers.
- Substitute the granola with crushed cookies or nuts for a different texture and flavor.
