Description

Delicious tahini-drizzled roasted cauliflower steaks that are easy to prepare and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into 3/4-inch thick steaks.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast the cauliflower steaks in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and tender.
  7. While the cauliflower is roasting, prepare the tahini drizzle by whisking together the tahini, lemon juice, water, and maple syrup (if using) until smooth.
  8. Adjust the consistency of the tahini drizzle with more water if needed.
  9. Once the cauliflower is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the tahini sauce over the steaks.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the olive oil mixture.
  • You can substitute the tahini with almond butter for a different flavor profile.
