- 1 loaf of garlic bread
- 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the garlic bread according to package instructions, but do not bake it yet.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning to the meat and follow package instructions to combine.
- Slice the garlic bread in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the bread to create space for the filling.
- Spread the taco meat evenly on the garlic bread halves.
- Top with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
- Serve with sour cream on the side.
