Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the garlic bread according to package instructions, but do not bake it yet.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Add the taco seasoning to the meat and follow package instructions to combine.
  5. Slice the garlic bread in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the bread to create space for the filling.
  6. Spread the taco meat evenly on the garlic bread halves.
  7. Top with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
  10. Serve with sour cream on the side.
