- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce by combining honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the sauce over them, tossing gently to coat.
- Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- For a sweeter sauce, increase the honey to 1/3 cup.
